The High Commissioner of Belize, Ms Perla Perdomo, cut the ribbon at a prestigious ceremony to celebrate the newly refurbished Stratford Butterfly Farm on 22 July.
mtechnical and other guests including Stratford-upon-Avon Mayor Cllr. Juliet Short and renowned Maya Archaeologist, Dr Diane Davies. attended the event.
Guests were taken on tours to see the Farm’s new improvements which came in at a cost of £250,000 and included a new entrance, refurbished gift shop and information panels in the Activity Area and Discovery Zone.
The Farm prides itself on being one of a few attractions in the UK able to offer schools access to Maya resources in line with the National Curriculum.
Guests to the Farm are now able to admire beautiful replica Maya sculptures which originally came from the ancient rainforest civilisation in Belize.
mtechnical helped to upgrade Stratford Butterfly Farm’s IT systems including new computers and an Office 365 email deployment.
